Our first German Shepherd came to us in 1974 "Katie" and from there on we fell in love with the breed. In 1997 Kayard Eike "Otto" came to us and he was our introduction into working Obedience,

also in 1997 Kolinga Venus 'Orla' joined our family and she was to be our first show dog, we were truly hooked !!

  After being granted our Affix "Qualcroft" by the UK Kennel club in Aug 1999 we purchased 'Astana Seffe' from the Astana Kennels, also 2003 saw 'Astana Yana' arrive into our Kennels these two females have become our foundation, their strength and character has been passed onto their offspring whom have been successful in show and working homes but most importantly as much adored pets .

At Qualcroft we participate in many aspects of the German shepherd, we have been active in 2 G.S.D  Training clubs (Leicester and Nottingham) training and assisting for both the Obedience and the Show Ring. We have also Scribed and Stewarded for both, Glenys has been active for many years handling for the show ring (Open and Champ shows) with much success !! and recently had her first Judging appointment (Retford Open Show) Newark Showground .
