This was my strongest class of the day and several good dogs went without placings.

1) Qualter and Reynold's Astana Bono at Reyanheath, 3 1/2 year black and rich gold dog not in full coat but still in excellent condition. A real showman of medium size and strength, correct proportions, who commanded my attention. A very balanced dog who is not overdone in any way. He has a masculine head with dark eye, good reach of neck and an uninterrupted topline into a good croup and tail set. Correct angles fore and aft, good length of foreleg into strong pasterns and tight feet. Sound away and back. Excellent balanced side gait showing good reach and drive. Well handled. He still has some maturing to do which can only improve him. A pleasure to award him CC & BOB.

OD (6,1) Reynolds & Qualter's Astana Bono At Reyanheath, 3 years rich black and gold masculine dog, medium sized but well proportioned. Very dark eyes, mask and excellent expression, alert strong neck into well laid shoulders, good front and rear angulations, strong backline into a good croup and tail set, sound to and fro with excellent side gait, a fabulous moving dog with plenty of reach and drive. Well handled. I was very pleased to award him his second CC and with the referee's decision, Best of Breed
